LCD Cos. Move To Toss Motorola, AT&T Antitrust Suits

Law360, New York (February 22, 2010, 12:48 PM ET) -- Defendants in multidistrict litigation accusing an array of thin film transistor liquid crystal display panel manufacturers of masterminding a massive price-fixing scheme have moved to dismiss plaintiffs AT&T Mobility LLC and Motorola Inc.’s complaints claiming the companies were overcharged for LCD screens used in cell phones.

The defendants filed several motions to dismiss the cellular phone companies’ cases on Friday, less than a month after they lodged their amended complaints in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California
