Ex-Agilent Employees Stole Trade Secrets: Court

Law360, New York (February 23, 2010, 4:25 PM ET) -- Three former employees of Agilent Technologies Inc. violated their contracts with the Hewlett-Packard Co. spinoff and stole its trade secrets to develop rival chemical technology, a Delaware court has ruled.

Vice Chancellor Leo E. Strine of the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware ruled Thursday that the three defendants breached their employment contracts and that they and their company, Advanced Materials Technology Inc., misappropriated Agilent's trade secrets.
