Mont., Lilly Reach $9.5M Deal In Zyprexa MDL

Law360, New York (February 23, 2010, 6:16 PM EST) -- Montana has become the latest state to reach a deal with Eli Lilly & Co. over its promotion and marketing of antipsychotic drug Zyprexa, with the drugmaker agreeing to pay $9.5 million into a state settlement fund.

Montana's attorney general lodged a motion to approve the consent judgment Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where a multidistrict litigation over Lilly's marketing of the drug has been pending for years.
