Law360, New York (February 24, 2010, 4:15 PM ET) -- Caliper Life Sciences Inc. has accused rival Carestream Health Inc. of infringing seven patents covering a method for noninvasive imaging of live animals — used in research related to finding disease treatments — through two product lines.
Caliper, a technology developer in the life sciences industry, lodged a complaint Tuesday in the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claiming its competitor has infringed patented methods for optical imaging with a slew of devices first developed by Eastman Kodak Co.'s health care unit....
