IGT Seeks To Toss Antitrust Claims In Bally IP Suit

Law360, New York (February 24, 2010, 1:29 PM EST) -- International Game Technology is seeking to dismiss antitrust and unfair competition claims in an infringement dispute with rival casino game maker Bally Gaming International Inc. over patents for slot machine features.

IGT said the case cannot move forward unless the court dismisses the claims or rules on the amount of damages Bally should pay for infringement, according to a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
