KBR Appeals $19M Loss In Army Food Contract Suit

Law360, New York (February 26, 2010, 4:41 PM ET) -- Kellogg Brown & Root International Inc. has appealed a federal judge's $19 million award to subcontractor Paul Morrell Inc. in a breach of contract suit accusing the former Halliburton Co. unit of inducing the subcontractor to accept reduced payments for military food services in Iraq.

Filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit challenges Judge Anthony J. Trenga's Jan. 29 decision, as well as a June 2008...
