Rohm Accuses Insurer Of Bad Faith In Enviro Spat

Law360, New York (February 26, 2010, 4:42 PM EST) -- Rohm and Haas Co. and Morton International Inc. have accused Utica Mutual Insurance Co. of acting in bad faith by backing out of an agreement to help the specialty chemical manufacturers fund their defense costs in four lawsuits over asbestos, chemical exposure and contamination.
