Care Centers To Pay $14M In Omnicare Kickback Flap

Law360, New York (February 26, 2010, 6:30 PM ET) -- Two Atlanta-based nursing home chains and their principals have agreed to pay the U.S. and several states $14 million, resolving a whistleblower action in which pharmaceutical supply giant Omnicare Inc. had already forked over $98 million to settle allegations of its involvement in the wide-ranging drug kickback scheme.
