FTI Consulting Asks For $3M For TXCO Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (March 1, 2010, 12:35 PM EST) -- FTI Consulting Inc. has asked a bankruptcy judge to sign off on nearly $3 million in fees and expenses to close out its involvement in oil company TXCO Resources Inc.'s Chapter 11 proceedings.

The company filed its request Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas. FTI requested nearly $2.7 million in fees and $125,000 in expenses, in addition to a $186,000 retainer, in its final fee application for its services as TXCO's chief restructuring officer and financial adviser.
