Packaging Co. Found Liable For Exploding KFC Tubs

Law360, New York (March 1, 2010, 1:36 PM EST) -- A federal judge has sided with a KFC Corp. unit in its breach of contract suit against a packaging supplier whose Popcorn Chicken containers exploded when microwaved, finding that the supplier should have reasonably foreseen that customers would use microwaves to reheat leftovers.
