Apple Wages IPhone Patent Battle With HTC

Law360, New York (March 02, 2010, 3:42 PM ET) -- Apple Inc. on Tuesday filed two separate complaints against HTC Corp., alleging the Taiwanese cell phone manufacturer is infringing 20 Apple patents used in the hugely popular iPhone.

The Cupertino, Calif.-based technology giant filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware and a Section 337 complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission, alleging HTC's importation of smart phones is resulting in patent infringement.
