Nokia Reaches Settlement In GPS Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 03, 2010, 2:31 PM ET) -- Engineering and manufacturing company ITT Corp. has announced a settlement with Nokia Corp. in an infringement suit an ITT subsidiary brought against several companies — including LG Electronics Inc., Motorola Inc., Verizon Wireless and Qualcomm Inc. — over a patent related to GPS technology.

The plaintiff and Nokia reached a confidential settlement that resolves all claims in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware regarding Nokia's mobile devices with assisted GPS technology, ITT announced Tuesday.
