Boston Scientific Cross-Appeals Stent Patent Ruling

Law360, New York (March 03, 2010, 2:15 PM ET) -- Weeks after Johnson & Johnson Inc. appealed a federal court's ruling that four of its patents for drug-eluting stents are invalid, Boston Scientific Corp. has notified the court that it will also appeal parts of that case.

BSC lodged a notice of cross-appeal Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, saying it would ask the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to reconsider all underlying opinions, orders and rulings adverse to BSC, including certain claim limitations construed in a Jan....
