Ford Takes NAFTA Duty Refund Suit To Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (March 4, 2010, 12:46 PM EST) -- Ford Motor Co. has appealed a U.S. Court of International Trade dismissal of its suit seeking to recoup import duties it said it shouldn't have had to pay under the North American Free Trade Agreement.

The company filed its notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Wednesday.

A representative of the Department of Justice declined to comment on the appeal. An attorney for Ford could not immediately be reached on Thursday.
