Obama Taps K&L Gates Veteran For US Attorney Post

Law360, New York (March 05, 2010, 4:21 PM ET) -- President Barack Obama has tapped K&L Gates LLP's Michael C. Ormsby, who specializes in municipal finance and general municipal law, and current Assistant U.S. Attorney Kenneth J. Gonzales to fill U.S. attorney slots in Washington and New Mexico.

On Wednesday, the White House sent the nominations for Ormsby and Gonzales to the U.S. Senate in order to fill the top prosecutorial spots in the Eastern District of Washington and the District of New Mexico, respectively.
