US, Pa. Should Pay Strontium Cleanup Costs: Lockheed

Law360, New York (March 05, 2010, 2:09 PM ET) -- As it faces a $20 million suit from Pennsylvania's environmental regulator over the cleanup of strontium-90 at a decommissioned nuclear facility, Lockheed Martin Corp. is arguing that the state and federal governments should share in any liability in the case.

Lockheed Martin filed separate third-party complaints against the U.S. and Pennsylvania governments Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. The state's Department of Environmental Protection sued Lockheed Martin in April.
