ITC Probes Effects Of Changes To US-Bahrain FTA

Law360, New York (March 08, 2010, 2:01 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission is seeking input for a new investigation into how proposed changes to the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement rules of origin for combed cotton yards used in home furnishings might affect trade.

The ITC said Friday it began the investigation in response to a request from U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk. The agency is seeking written submissions through April 29, and expects to have its report to the USTR by July 12.
