Coke Slapped With IP Suit Over Face-Matching Program

Law360, New York (March 8, 2010, 4:41 PM EST) -- The maker of popular face-matching software has filed suit against the Coca-Cola Co., alleging that the Coke Zero Facial Profiler — an application found on the soft drink giant's Web site — infringes two patents.

San Diego-based FaceDouble Inc., which hosts face-matching applications on social networking sites, filed suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, targeting Coke and advertising agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky LLC.
