Baker Donelson Wants IP Malpractice Suit Dumped

Law360, New York (March 10, 2010, 3:57 PM EST) -- Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC has asked a federal court to throw out a malpractice suit accusing the firm of failing to file a patent application in Canada for ballistic defense walls.

Baker Donelson, along with shareholder Susan Elizabeth McBee of the firm's D.C. office, filed a motion to dismiss Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, claiming lack of jurisdiction and failure to state a claim.
