Western Union Strikes Deal In Actus E-Payment IP Suit

Law360, New York (March 10, 2010, 12:18 PM ET) -- Western Union Financial Services Inc. has settled a patent infringement suit brought by patent-holding company Actus LLC over technology for electronic methods of processing payments, joining a number of other defendants that have resolved the litigation.

The parties moved to dismiss all claims between them with prejudice Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, pursuant to a settlement agreement dated March 3. They will each bear their own costs.
