Law360, New York (March 10, 2010, 4:08 PM ET) -- A New York state jury has awarded $2.25 million for pain and suffering to three survivors of a 2005 collision involving a bus carrying members of a Canadian women's hockey team, in the first of what could be several damages trials stemming from the crash.
On Monday, a six-person Livingston County Supreme Court jury awarded former Windsor Wildcats hockey players Carly Labadie and Troy Gault $1 million and $500,000, respectively. Assistant coach Jason Mailloux was awarded $750,000.
