New Line, Others Sued Over Video Indexing Patent

Law360, New York (March 11, 2010, 3:33 PM EST) -- InMotion Imagery Technologies LLC has accused nearly a dozen film companies — including Buena Vista Home Entertainment Inc., New Line Home Entertainment Inc. and The Weinstein Co. — of infringing a patent for video indexing technology.

Marshall, Texas-based InMotion filed a complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, seeking damages it allegedly suffered due to infringement by the defendants.
