Lerner David Sanctions Bid Stayed In IP Licensing Fight

Law360, New York (March 11, 2010, 2:42 PM EST) -- A federal judge has put a hold on Lerner David Littenberg Krumholz & Mentlik LLP's bid for sanctions against an inventor claiming the law firm breached its duty of representation in negotiating a patent licensing agreement for video game controllers.

Judge Garrett E. Brown Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Tuesday stayed the motion for sanctions, but gave the defendant leave to reopen it after a decision has been made on the merits of the underlying case.
