Air France Accuses Ryanair Of Taking Illegal Aid

Law360, New York (March 11, 2010, 3:29 PM ET) -- Air France-KLM has raised the stakes in its battle with Ryanair Ltd. by filing a complaint with European competition authorities that accuses the Irish low-fare carrier of demanding illegal subsidies from French airports.

Air France issued a public statement Thursday saying that it had lodged its accusations with the European Commission in November, but did not explain its reasons for waiting more than three months to announce the complaint.
