FTC May Probe Google's $750M AdMob Acquisition

Law360, New York (March 12, 2010, 4:43 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission has reportedly begun looking into the possible antitrust implications of Google Inc.'s proposed $750 million acquisition of mobile display advertising technology provider AdMob Inc., issuing subpoenas to several advertisers and software developers.

The regulator has sought sworn declarations from some advertisers, as well as companies that build mobile applications that rely on advertising for revenue, the Financial Times reported Friday, citing two people familiar with the investigation.
