Nokia Rips Apple's Nonpatent Claims In Dismissal Bid

Law360, New York (March 12, 2010, 2:05 PM ET) -- An epic patent dispute between Apple Inc. and Nokia Corp. has grown even more bitter, with Nokia harshly stating why Apple's antitrust, breach of contract and other nonpatent counterclaims should be tossed.

The Finnish cell phone maker filed a motion Thursday with the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, saying the nonpatent counterclaims were implausible, conclusory and self-contradictory, and that they therefore failed to state a claim under current Supreme Court precedent.
