Duty Rate On Chinese Bedroom Furniture Is Correct: US

Law360, New York (March 12, 2010, 2:06 PM ET) -- The U.S. government is defending its decision to impose a 216 percent anti-dumping duty on certain wooden bedroom furniture from China, arguing the results are correct and should be maintained despite new data introduced on remand.

A 216.01 percent rate determined by the U.S. Department of Commerce is appropriate for Starcorp Furniture Co. Ltd. and related entities, the U.S. said in a response filed Thursday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
