Top White House Aide Joins Holland & Knight

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 4:51 PM ET) -- Moe Vela, formerly the director of management and administration for Vice President Joe Biden, has joined Holland & Knight LLP as a partner in the firm's public policy and regulation group in Washington.

He will focus his practice on counseling clients on government relations strategies at the federal, state and local levels, Holland & Knight said Monday. Vela, a Mexican-American, will also work to bring the firm more Hispanic-owned businesses, building on his long-running work with that community.
