Lockheed, Calif. Guards Reach $1.5M Meal Break Deal

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 4:42 PM ET) -- Lockheed Martin Corp. and a class of current and former security guards at facilities throughout California have reached a settlement worth up to $1.55 million in a lawsuit claiming the guards were denied required meal breaks.

The two sides filed a joint motion Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California seeking approval of the settlement, in which Lockheed will pay an estimated 293 plant protection officers an average of $4,726.96.
