Nintendo, Microsoft Didn't Infringe Joystick IP: Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 2:32 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Monday upheld a lower court decision that Nintendo of America Inc. and Microsoft Corp. didn't infringe a patent-holding company's joystick technology.

In a two-page per curiam opinion, Judges Randall R. Rader, Pauline Newman and Richard Linn of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said only that the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas had been right to grant Nintendo and Microsoft summary judgment against Fenner Investments Ltd.
