BearingPoint Trustee Sues Yale To Recover $8M

Law360, New York (March 16, 2010, 7:14 PM ET) -- Bankrupt technology consulting firm BearingPoint Inc. has filed an adversary suit against Yale University to recover $8 million it channeled to the academic institution as part of a deal to sponsor an MBA program.

BearingPoint liquidating trustee John Degroote Services LLC filed the complaint Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York to avoid and recover what it deems fraudulent and preferential transfers made to the Ivy League university.
