Addressing The NYC Capacity Market

Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 2:16 PM EDT) -- In resolution of a complaint filed on Feb. 22, 2010, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S Department of Justice and KeySpan Corporation entered into a $12 million stipulation involving allegations that, through the mechanism of a financial swap, KeySpan acted to increase the prices of New York City's electric capacity markets in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act.
