Sony Resolves Ennova Patent Spat Over Flash Drives

Law360, New York (March 17, 2010, 2:13 PM EDT) -- Sony Electronics Inc. has reached a settlement in Ennova Direct Inc.'s patent infringement suit against a dozen rival technology companies over flash memory drives with retractable USB connectors.

Magistrate Judge Charles Everingham IV of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on a stipulation of dismissal Wednesday.

Both parties will pay their own costs from the litigation, though further specifics of the settlement were not available and representatives for Ennova and Sony did not immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday....
