Dutch Fund Wins $18M Judgment In Dunmore Suit

Law360, New York (March 17, 2010, 6:20 PM EDT) -- A Dutch pension fund has won a judgment of more than $18 million in its breach of contract and unjust enrichment lawsuit against California-based real estate developer Dunmore Capital LLC, which did not show up in court to defend itself.

Judge Sue L. Robinson's ruling, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, awarded plaintiff Stichting Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn more than $14.9 million in compensatory damages, more than $2.7 million in prejudgment interest and more than $348,000 in attorneys' fees against the defendant....
