Lab Supplier Can't Shake UPS Leaky Package Suit

Law360, New York (March 18, 2010, 5:03 PM ET) -- VWR International LLC, a lab supply company that had $3.7 billion in sales in 2008, has lost its bid to dismiss a case in which workers at United Parcel Service Inc. allege they were exposed to toxic fumes because VWR mislabeled packages.

Judge Samuel Der-Yeghiayan of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois denied VWR's motion to dismiss Tuesday, saying VWR's arguments that certain elements on the label correctly identified the substance needed further investigation and could not be judged at this stage....
