McShares Booted From Peroxide Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, New York (March 18, 2010, 1:22 PM ET) -- A federal judge has dismissed chemical company McShares Inc.'s complaint from multidistrict litigation over alleged price-fixing by hydrogen peroxide manufacturers, ruling that McShares' claims were time-barred.

Judge Stewart Dalzell of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Wednesday granted a motion filed by defendants FMC Corp., Eka Chemicals Inc., Akzo Nobel Inc. and Solvay Chemicals Inc. to dismiss the suit, which McShares filed in February 2009.
