Comair, Pilots Agree On More Time For Talks

Law360, New York (January 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Comair Inc. pilots and the bankrupt airline reached an interim agreement on Thursday, giving the parties until February 2 to reach an agreement on the pilots’ contracts.

The pact requires Comair to follow the guidelines of the current collective bargaining agreement during the agreement period.

The management had previously threatened concessionary pay and work rule cuts starting on December 30, according to the Comair pilots’ union, the Air Line Pilots Association, which approved the recent deal along with the Comair Master Executive Council and the airline....
