IP Agreement With Spansion Can't Be Rejected: Apple

Law360, New York (March 19, 2010, 5:06 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. is appealing a court's finding that an intellectual property letter of agreement the company had with bankrupt flash memory manufacturer Spansion Inc. can be rejected and is not subject to certain provisions of the Bankruptcy Code.

The computer giant on Thursday submitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware a statement of issues to be presented in Apple's appeal, including a finding that the letter is not subject to Section 365(n) of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
