Lincoln Insurance Sues Agent Over Alleged $10M STOLI

Law360, New York (March 22, 2010, 1:54 PM EDT) -- The Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. has sued New York City-area life insurance agent Yeruchum Winer for allegedly scamming the insurer into issuing a $10 million stranger-originated life insurance policy.

Lincoln sued Winer and Michael Mosberg — another New York-area man who allegedly managed a trust procured as part of the scam — on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
