State AGs Plan To Fight Health Care Reform Law

Law360, New York (March 22, 2010, 2:48 PM EDT) -- At least 13 Republican state attorneys general say they plan to challenge the constitutionality of health care legislation once President Barack Obama signs the historic reform measure into law Tuesday.

After more than a year of debate that was capped off by a 219-212 vote Sunday evening in the U.S. House of Representatives, the law that mandates medical coverage for tens of millions of uninsured is facing opposition at the state level.
