Jury Hands Covidien $4.8M In Surgical Device IP Case

Law360, New York (March 23, 2010, 5:06 PM EDT) -- A federal jury has found that Applied Medical Resources Corp.’s devices for minimally invasive surgery infringe a patent held by Covidien PLC, directing Applied Medical to pay more than $4.8 million in damages.
