No Coverage For Pa. Judge Kickback Scandal: Insurer

Law360, New York (March 23, 2010, 3:15 PM EDT) -- General Star Indemnity Co. Inc. has beefed up its lawsuit seeking to avoid insurance payments to a juvenile detention facility operator that has been sued for allegedly paying two county judges in Pennsylvania to send teens to its care centers.

The insurer filed its first amended complaint Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. The amended complaint outlines additional exclusions in the policies that allegedly bar coverage for Mid-Atlantic Youth Services Corp.
