Retail Managers Hit Union Bank With OT Suit

Law360, New York (March 23, 2010, 4:31 PM ET) -- Union Bank NA has been hit with a proposed class action alleging it has misclassified customer service managers and staff service officers at its retail banking locations in California as exempt from overtime pay.

Customer service manager Shawn-Michael Mathies filed the suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California under California labor and unfair competition laws and the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
