Patent Deemed Invalid In Edwards Heart Valve Suit

Law360, New York (March 23, 2010, 4:44 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has invalidated one of three patents for catheter heart valve technology asserted by Edwards Lifesciences Corp. in an infringement action against CoreValve Inc., finding that the patent contains defective priority claims that have not been adequately corrected.
