Ex-Madoff Director, Programmers Deny Aiding Fraud

Law360, New York (March 25, 2010, 12:43 PM EDT) -- The ex-director of operations and two former computer programmers for Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC pled not guilty Thursday to creating bogus records that hid their boss' multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme.

Former Madoff executive Daniel Bonventre and ex-Madoff computer programmers Jerome O'Hara and George Perez entered their pleas in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

O'Hara and Perez were charged with conspiracy, falsifying records of a broker-dealer and falsifying records of an investment adviser and face maximum sentences of 30 years...
