Atlanta Fund Manager Fessed Up To Fraud: Suit

Law360, New York (March 25, 2010, 3:16 PM ET) -- Investors have secured a court order freezing the assets of an Atlanta hedge fund manager in a suit alleging the moneyman confessed to draining the fund's coffers for personal use and crafting fake financial statements to cover up his misconduct.

Judge Henry M. Newkirk of the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia on Monday granted the plaintiffs' bid to freeze the assets of Robert L. Duncan – the managing partner and founding member of Seaside Asset Management LLC – and expediting discovery in the case....
