Ex-Royal Caribbean Cook Files OT Class Action

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 4:53 PM EDT) -- Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has been hit with a proposed class action alleging it failed to pay overtime wages and made improper deductions from the pay of hundreds of cooks, waiters and servers on its cruise ships.

Former crew cook Glen Roy Ellis filed the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on behalf of all current and former Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises Inc. employees who have worked in those positions since 2003.
