Enzo Sues Applera Over DNA Sequencing Patent

Law360, New York (June 9, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Enzo Biochem Inc. has sued rival Applera Corp., claiming the genetic research company infringed a patent related to an Enzo gene sequencing system.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut against Applera Corporation and its subsidiary Tropix Inc., charges them with patent infringement arising out of the misappropriation of technologies related to DNA sequencing systems.
