Collins & Aikman Seeks Sixth Extension

Law360, New York (January 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Auto supplier Collins & Aikman wants another extension on its exclusive period to file a plan to for emerging from bankruptcy, marking the company’s sixth request for more time.

The exclusive period is scheduled to expire on Jan. 12. In its motion, filed Dec. 27, Collins & Aikman asked for a hearing on Jan. 11 to lengthen it by 120 days, to May 14.
