SemGroup Litigation Trust Seeks $56M Recovery

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 5:59 PM EDT) -- The litigation vehicle left behind by the reorganized SemGroup LP has sued a group of investment funds managed by the Carlyle Group and others, looking to recover more than $56 million in allegedly fraudulent transfers.

The SemGroup Litigation Trust, created in the wake of the energy trading company's emergence from Chapter 11 in November, lodged an adversary complaint Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, implicating a handful of funds run by the Carlyle Group, Riverstone Holdings and Ritchie Capital Management....
